Being sick sucks. Being sick when you're pregnant sucks even more. You can't take just take any cold or decongestant medicine, hell you really shouldn't take anything. I've been taking cough suppressant before I've gone to bed and that's just about it.
I called out sick two days this past week hoping that will help nip it in the bud. So much for that idea because I feel worse! What the hell. If I'm not better by Monday I'm going to call the doc just to make sure I shouldn't be doing anything else. Normally I would just ride it out until I get better but because of little baby I figure I would be a little more cautious.
Our second class is tomorrow. We'll see if anymore heavy breathers come out.

Trader Joe's 1,00 mg Vit. c (time released) is what I recommend. About 6,000 mg/day for you when sick broken up into three or four doses (2 i in the morning, 2 mid day and 2 at night). Lots of water which I think you already do.
Then, start learning about homeopathy. It does work nicely and is even more effective for an infant since they are too little for even the mildest OTC drug.
I was thinking about getting you that kind of stuff for your baby shower but was torn about maybe you don't want to practice alternative therapies. Let me know if you are interested.
Well, I hope you feel better soon! Being sick when pregnant does suck (I take your word for it). It's even worse when you're sick and your baby needs you and you are "it"!
